Key Responsibilities
- Data Digitization: Transfer data from paper formats, image files, or PDFs into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
- Accuracy Verification: Verify data by comparing it to source documents to detect inconsistencies or errors before final submission.
- Database Management: Update existing data, perform regular backups, and ensure that all information is stored securely and in accordance with data protection policies.
- Quality Control: Review your own work to correct typographical errors, missing information, or formatting issues.
- Confidentiality: Treat all handled information with strict confidentiality and comply with our data security protocols.
- Reporting: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Communication: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files when needed by the team lead.
- Format Compliance: Adhere strictly to the provided style guides (e.g., Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12) regarding data entry formats and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Requirement: Accuracy
We do not mandate a high typing speed (WPM). However, we require a high level of Typing Accuracy (98% or higher). Candidates must demonstrate the ability to type without spelling or punctuation errors.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. (Graduates and Undergraduates are welcome).
- Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and basic computer operations.
- Language Skills: Good command of the English language (both written and reading comprehension) to understand source documents.
- Equipment: Access to a personal computer or laptop with a stable internet connection.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks for long periods while maintaining high precision.
- Self-Discipline: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet submission deadlines.
- Experience: Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is a plus, but freshers with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
